Oxygen Ukraine is a Christian non-profit organization that supports families most affected by the war in Ukraine, including those who have lost loved ones, been forced to leave their homes or been separated from their families. Our work focuses on helping children, teenagers and young adults with their emotional and spiritual recovery.
We strive to bring hope and healing to families affected by the war in Ukraine. We create a safe space for children, teenagers and young people to support their personal, intellectual, creative, and spiritual development, and provide professional support for their families.
Our projects follow the temporary community model – short-term yet deeply meaningful experiences of shared living, mutual support, and personal growth.
This modern approach helps participants heal, grow, and develop new skills in a safe and supportive environment.
For 5–7 days, participants immerse themselves in an atmosphere of trust, safety, and shared activities. This enables them to take a break from their daily stresses, form new connections, replenish their inner resources, and start to change their behavioural patterns.
Research indicates that participation in camps or retreats can significantly reduce anxiety, increases resilience to stress and promote personal growth. We believe that spending just a few days in a supportive community can inspire long-lasting positive change.

2015
START
Oxygen Ukraine was founded with a mission to serve and help the next generation build a better future.
A safe space for adolescents “Oxyteens” has opened in Lviv.
2016
The first summer camp for orphans and children of soldiers killed in the ATO in Donbas.
The organisation is officially registered as a non-profit institution.
2017
Two summer camps for teenagers were held.

Opening of crisis centers for refugees in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk
Six summer camps, two winter camps and one spring camp were held in the Carpathian Mountains for refugee children from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Opening of two humanitarian warehouses in Lviv and the launch of a national network for distributing humanitarian aid to frontline towns and villages across Ukraine.
90 vials of insulin were delivered to hospitals in the city of Lviv.
Opening of the “Montana shelter” for refugees in the Carpathian Mountains.
1,505 IDPs were provided with food and hygiene products in the Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv regions.
Camps for Ukrainian refugee children were held in Germany and the UK, and local Oxygen Ukraine teams were established in both countries.
“Oxyteens” spaces were opened for Ukrainian teenagers in Ternopil and Chervonohrad (Ukraine), Wuppertal and Cologne (Germany), and Bristol (United Kingdom).
2023
10170 laptops and tablets were provided to children in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
Eight summer camps, two winter camps and one spring camp were held in the Carpathian Mountains for orphans and the children of military personnel who died during the war in Ukraine. Four summer camps were also held for the children of Ukrainian refugees in Germany and the United Kingdom.
Generators were delivered to 64 churches and non-profit organizations in Ukraine.

Twelve summer camps, two winter camps, and one spring camp were held in the Carpathian Mountains for orphans and children of military personnel who were killed during the full-scale war in Ukraine, as well as four camps for children of Ukrainian refugees in Germany and the United Kingdom.

Twenty summer camps, two winter camps, and one spring camp were organized in the Carpathian Mountains for orphans and for the children of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, along with five camps for children of Ukrainian refugees held in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
